Villain is a fish running at 32/17 calls 44% of opens. In hindsight I should have made it 4x preflop, just didn't catch his ridiculously large call open before I raised.

On the flop I bet large because of the monotone board, I assume he'll call with any high spade, any sd + spade or any pair with a spade. His range is still pretty wide after he calls the flop.

On the turn I could have bet larger, it was 14 into 17.50, I prob could have gone 16 and his continuing range would likely be the same. I still think he will be calling with really the majority of his range he did with on the flop, maybe folding something like 56o with the 6 of spades, but even then I wouldn't count on that.

On the river I go 41 into 45.50, the 4 is a good card, unlikely he has 4x, and it makes a slowplayed set of 4s less likely. I think he will call a large bet with a jack, near 100% of the time, and he will call with 2nd pair or worse at least some % of the time. After he raises I have to assume he slowplayed a flush or a set or something and I fold despite getting 4.4 to 1, I doubt i'll be good the necessary 19% of the time.

The guy who called my open is 17/9 with a call open of 11% on the btn, it's prob a bit higher since i'm opening from the CO. He also 3bets 3% from the BTN, so there's very little chance of him slowplaying a big pair pre.

Cbet is standard, when he raises I checked and saw his raise cb stat was 30%, so obv he will have air a lot here. I didn't think 3betting and getting it in was good because when he continues against the 3b he will very likely have a range of strong hands plus strong draws, if I just call I let all the air stay in his range. I'm not sure how often he is going to be barreling the turn after he raises the turn though, so I feel like I am exploitable to being barreled by a wide range, but I guess he would have to be willing to do it very often for that to be a huge problem.

It's tough to say what range he is doing this with. I think AJ and AQ will likely play like this near 100% of the time if he does raise cbets that often. He is probably also raising pairs he doesn't want to call with that he would rather turn into a bluff, like 99-44 and 22. I think he will be calling with all of his Kx hands, his Tx hands (except maybe T9 and JT of diamonds), and he will raise larger with his very big hands like sets and huge draws.

When he checks back the turn I wouldn't expect his air to keep betting. Hands like QJ and AJ now have 2nd pair with a decent kicker/draw so they won't bet either. I'm really not sure how often he will bet the turn with a worse hand than ours, I wouldn't expect it to be often though, so if he did bomb the turn I would have folded.

On the river I decided to value bet against his AJ or QJ type hands, or maybe even against like KQ if he just played it really weird on the flop (not likely I know). I actually expect to get called here somewhat often because the front door draw bricked and I can easily have bet/called a flop minraise with a fd and then tried to stab on a scary looking run out.
